Before we venture into Ecuador, I would like to share the story of how Laura and I met. This will be the first woman whose name I will mention in these readings. We had a very open and understanding relationship with each other, one of the best I have ever experienced before. On this trip, we would make international attention with an unfortunate accident that we both preserved through. I will mention more about this situation when we look into the Vilcabamba Ecuador portion of this section. Our journey together started in Toronto. I was in the process of getting ready to go back to Peru to a center that I helped contribute and organize in the jungle. I knew I was going into a fight with a Shaman, a man that I had unfinished business.
He was taking advantage of a man's fortune, and his ego was starting to vibrate off the charts. (We will read more about this in the Peru section). There was a good chance that I would not return out of that country when again. I kept this knowing to myself because I did not want anyone to interfere with my decisions. In Peru, I let my friend, who was funding the operation, know of the dangers, but he could not understand at the time. He was highly influenced by the shaman and his brew.

Low and behold, the universe would send Laura, a beautiful woman with a free, courageous spirit. We met at a workshop I was co-hosting with a good friend of mine. I was swamped planning my trip to Peru and finishing up my work with some outpatients from a woman’s shelter and a psychiatric hospital in the region and had no time to meet her at this point. But one day, a woman came to see me from the Biahi church in Toronto. She was calm, and I have known her for several years now, and I trusted her. This woman explained that Laura wanted to meet, and she had to tell me something vital.
I said yes and would arrange a meeting at this church; I did not know what this faith was and curious to find out more. Laura is exceptionally talented and attractive, and the last thing I was thinking about was her being interested in me. I just assumed she had questions about the workshop or wanted to introduce me to this church. We met, and both of us were very excited to see each other; we walked through the church with the other woman who accompanied us; I found out Laura was not from this church or followed the faith and was friends with this woman.
We finished up our tour and walked outside. Laura told me an angel came to visit her by the name of Michael. It advised her to tell me not to go to Peru, that I would not come back. I was shocked and told her that it was my mission, I know something terrible would happen there, and I need to go. She then told me I had a new purpose, and it was to explore her. I thought about this overnight. I was celibate for a very long time. I knew I would have no chance of maintaining this with her, as I said earlier, very, very beautiful physically as well and brilliant. I agreed to stay in Toronto and dive back into another relationship. Besides, there was something in the air, a cosmic return that I wanted to discover, and I knew she had a key that would unlock some of the best work I have done this far. As far as Peru,
I let everyone know that I would not be returning and going on the planned vision quest. It was going to be a tour through the Chavin culture into the mountains visiting the ancient ruins. In the end, a year would pass, the Centre in Peru would fall apart, the Shaman would go to jail for murder, and a young man from America would die. Again I will explain Peru and the center Shimbre in the Peru section of the readings.
Our relationship would move quickly; our connection was gratifying, and she supported my service work. I had something planned a considerable showcase of drawings (sacred Geometry) that I was getting ready to create. I have mentioned these spirit guides before named the council of 9 and 12 archetypal aspects that would prime me for a whole new journey with a group called the 144 thousand through these drawings.
I explained to Laura that I would be venturing on a quest to draw over 300 shields (images) and would need a space to do this in, and she would have to be prepared to keep me grounded as I would be drawing 10 to 15 a day. She would also meet other aspects of me that would seem angelic or interdimensional. Laura was in, and now we needed to find a place. Another event in Toronto we were hosting was a lecture in a large auditorium at the Convention Centre.
We met a woman who has been attending the workshops for a year now. This woman told me she was at a reading from an intuitive and was told an exceptional book was going to be created; this would come from a golden hue in the cosmos through a man, and she would host him in her home, so this man had the space to finish it. Laura and I laughed, explaining to this woman that we agreed to start the process, and my body was in preparation for the influx of energies that would be coming in the form of drawings. Long story short, I moved into a beautiful two-story penthouse in the Centre of Toronto square and would start the work. It would last for almost nine months straight, 8 hours a day every day. Laura would keep me grounded in my body, and the other woman provided food and 5-star shelter. Laura would edit the language and add some images herself.

After the completion of this work, our relationship would get closer. I finished up all the books, and Laura helped me organize and edit them. One day we decided to go for a walk through Bathurst my office was very close to this street. We just moved into a new place; she wanted to find some friendship rings to wear the symbolism of our commitment to the work and us. We walked into a place named alternative thinking. It was a large store with a section of books that varied from religion, spirituality, conspiracy, health and psychedelics. I felt a huge connection to the location because of its size and how many people I could sit for workshops. It was empty with open space; only the walls had inventory.
I thought to myself, wow, at least one hundred people I could fit in here.
The space I was currently in could only fit 20 to 25. I walked up to the counter where there were a man and two women; I asked the owner he said it’s a family business himself, and his two sisters run the space. I asked him if I could use the area to do workshops. I would fill his store full of people and his cash register. I told him I do not charge for my seminars, and I have a database with over 3 thousand people that follow my work. I also explained to him that I work off an open-source platform meaning the free sharing of information, and none of the work is copyrighted or trademarked.
I liked this man and saw the potential of the space and in him. He agreed, but there was one problem we needed to inventory things for people to purchase, not just books. He did not want to do this as he was into literature only, but when we all found out the business life I came from and the experience I had in retail, he felt more comfortable to do so. I gave him a list of the things the store would need and to be sourced out.
The vision I had was superfoods, food-grade oils, lots of crystals and spiritual gifts. Laura and I would get ready to fill his store and generate the money for the house, and I knew he was responsible enough to spend it making his space sustainable he was not your average man. He had a vision. We did our first workshop, and space was filled at full capacity, and everyone who attended was shocked it was for free and wanted to spend the money in his store; long story short, his cash register was fired up for the weekend.

With a group of friends and family, Laura and I would rent a large cottage for the weekend to celebrate our work, complete the books and the success of our relationship. It was not a marriage with legal papers and priests; it was a celebration of life and friendships. Global TV would tell our story made our vacation into a honeymoon to add some viewership drama, but this was not the case. The TV station misinformed many people about what happened to us in Ecuador. I will be explaining more of this later on in the readings. We dressed up and had a great time; one friend would bring some healing technology for everybody to use as we set the vibe high. This weekend is where we agreed to travel.
We both needed a vacation. I was exhausted from all the people attending alternative thinking in Toronto for the workshops. All-day, I was navigating and gathering other people to help with the building of the space. I was busy 10 hours a day with clients and answering everyone's questions who came in the store.
We would leave the condo in Toronto and would begin our first stop and last of our travels. Laura was super excited, as was I.
Because of my journeys into other countries and what I saw and experienced, I did have safety concerns. I asked Laura to change the beautiful blond Ukrainian hair to black, she met me halfway and tinted it a darker colour. I also explained to her to dress down to not attract attention and begged her not to bring the expensive camera. She loves photography very much, and no way was she going to leave it behind. I never travelled with cameras or phones because the countries I visited were impoverished. We arrived in Manabí; the stretches of beach were breathtaking with quaint little fishing villages, national parks, Palo Santo Forests and ancient Agua Blanca. I was a vegan at the time but decided to give it up for Favorite dishes of fish located in a town close. The cuisine includes ceviche made from fresh fish, shellfish, and vice and sancocho (fish stew).
Laura picked the perfect place to stay located on the beach named Hosteria Mandala, located in Puerto Lopez. Maja (Swiss) and Aurelio (Italian) built the space themselves. It was indeed a work of art with geometry through the whole area, amazing gardens with beachfront property and whales singing at night through the waters. We stayed there for a long time and became friends with them, we would sit up at night and talk geometry, and at times I would offer healing treatments to some guests and friends that lived in the region.
We planned a trip From Just off the coast (La Isla de la Plata), home to many species that live in the Galapagos Islands. We would also venture out to Machalilla National Park, exploring numerous flora and fauna and jungle animals. We even had a pet monkey that someone left with us on the beach in a box (capuchin monkey).
Of course, we handed it to the local authority.
I was excited for the next trip, a visit to the Agua Blanca tribe that showcases the remains of one of the oldest archaeological sites and settlements in South America. Temples, artifacts such as skulls and houses of the Manteño culture can be found on display dating 1500 BC.
We would swim in a natural sulphur lagoon located on-site with mineral waters and muds. The lagoon was rejuvenating and healing. We returned to the hotel, and the owner asked me if I heard of Palo Santo before. I explained I did not. He told me he would bring me up to a man in the forest; he lives in the hills and is a guardian and spiritual adviser of this tree. As usual, I was excited, always searching for plant medicines to experience from the places I visited and meeting people native to the lands.

I asked Laura if I could do a fast before I venture up to meet this man in the hills. I did not want to turn this into a full-on ethnobotanical experience, but I could not help myself. She was used to my persona now and said go for it. I would climb the trees in the mornings, pick the coconuts and drink their water. I would drink from the coconut by the seaside. It was compelling a few days into it; I would feel my back on the fire and my urine becoming milky white. During this fast, Laura researched what these green coconuts would do, but I asked her not to tell me. In one cup 250 ml, these gems would provide Fiber: 3 grams, Protein: 2 grams, Vitamin C: 10% of the RDI, Magnesium: 15% of the RDI, Manganese: 17% of the RDI, Potassium: 17% of the RDI, Sodium: 11% of the RDI, Calcium: 6% of the RDI. Young green Coconut water also contains antioxidants that protect our cells from damage caused by the environment and dietary radicals. But this was an essential part; the water also rids kidney stones by reducing crystal and stone formation. This would explain the back pain I was getting and the change in my urine colour, and, eventually, the screaming in the bathrooms as I passed kidney stones from my bladder.

Now I was ready to meet the Palo Santo shaman and would venture there without Laura first. Up in the hills, off the coast of the Pacific, this man built a small village. Here he devoted his time to working with the earth and the magic of the Palo Santo spirit. He told me of his first encounter with the oil and how he was instantly inspired to share this gift with everyone he could. He was devoted to sharing this powerful healing oil with the world in the most ethical way possible. I made an instant connection to this man (Dante). His home was full of crystals.
Dante took me into his gardens, and all I could smell was the aroma of these trees in the air flowing around from the fresh salt sea ions. He showed me his oil extraction process from the wood and had images of the lunar cycles that would tell him when to harvest and distill them. Dante would offer me some oils as he explained the properties that the oils had and how the crystals complemented the pants. Dante had the crystals placed around seedlings and spread throughout the distillery. As Dante walked me around the site, the idea came to consume the oil; he told me he has never heard of that before.
I asked for the freshest batch to take with me. I would start my palo santo cleanse and study and would vent back up to meet him when I was done with the oil consumption results and to continue further study with him. I went back down to the hotel to Laura and would start to integrate everything he taught me while consuming the oil. The first day into consumption, I experience an immediate purge with regular trips to the bathroom.
The body released a build of extra bile and small stones that evacuated from the liver. I also experienced a release of small intestinal worms. (most likely a build-up from the coconut fast prior). On the second day, it kicked in immediately, and I experienced an integration of the lands and a more in-depth look into what I learned during my visit to the hills. I would ground the experience in 3 days and would write a summary. Here is the short study I called code in nature.

The earth can be a living, viable organism speaking to us continually. The planet can show patterns within nature that can be found or even proven within the scientific community and magical-based principles. A great example of this would be the very sacred and holy Palosanto tree. When this tree begins its journey from seed into a plant, we can discover 1 through 7 matrices of code. The tree can show three leaves, create a triangle's the first geometry; one leaf above and two leaves below. Another set of three leaves can appear on the opposite side of the stem, possibly creating another trinity, or overlay of geometry, known as the Star, or shield, of David in some studies of Geometry.
The stem can be considered the plant's spine and eventually manifests into a trunk, creating a healthy spine. The backbone of the plant can be the assembly line for branches and leaves. Everything becomes present for the tree as it grows. They can sway in the wind and flow with the Divine Order; water comes when needed, and food arrives when needed. The medicine of the plant and tree becomes readily available for humanity to harvest, along with an abundant source of knowledge.
As the Palo Santo ages, it may still show the code within the five predominant leaves, one being a little smaller, just enough to show us the stem that runs through the whole pattern.
An abundant selection of these trees is located in Ecuador. The finest and purest oils from these trees come from the coastal region of Puerto Lopez. In Ecuador, the Palo Santo is only harvested when they die and fall over due to natural causes (the government protects them). When this occurs, the whole tree is recycled (roots, trunk, bark, everything!), used, and others planted in its place. There are strict regulations and much respect and honour given to this process.
The trees do not grow as significantly as other trees. It seems their consciousness knows and understands their purpose and requires only a particular lifetime rooted before their next lifetime begins as medicine.
The Palosanto tree oil/wood can sometimes ground our energies and calm the nervous system. This may be important in our development since the nervous system may run through our body, originating within the spirit antenna (the spine) and flowing through our tissues and organs.
The tree can reflect this system to us by rooting in the ground, then creating the antenna, or spine, in the form of a trunk. It then reaches out with its branches, illuminating the nervous system and lungs and finally manifesting leaves as the organs. Palosanto means ‘holy wood,’ or ‘sacred wood’ and can be known as a holy or purification oil. This oil is applied in many ways. Through a diffuser to enhance meditation or a possible connection to the Divine. The oil can be placed and rubbed into the hands, then inhaled for a reasonable sense of grounding and vitality.
The Palo Santo can be used directly on the body with a carrier or oil. This concludes the plant's study; now, I will share what I learned from the crystals.
The physical transparency of Quartz can carry the white light spectrum and be the bridge to all colour code spectrums of sound within our earth plane and beyond. The silicone dioxide medium can attract white light. The white light's function levels can respond with the function levels within the physical body at molecular light speed connecting within our DNA and the rainbow grid of Chakra colours throughout our etheric body. Our physical body can anchor into the earth plane, possibly because the Earth's energy spectrum can be made of the same white light, making pure Quartz an integral part of our system.
Quartz can be white light crystallized.
Other crystals can have similar properties as Quartz. A red ray or red light spectrum can be associated with the Root Chakra and can be one of Red Calcite's or Ruby's earthy energy spectrums. Orange Gypsum Selenite can be the ray of orange; Citrine can be the ray of yellow. The tones of a green-ray can crystallize within our physical threshold as Emerald. Topaz can carry the spectrum of blue; Lolite, a lovely violet-blue colour, may radiate unlike other gemstones and send the indigo or deep blue ray; and finally, Amethyst can carry the flash of violet. Each precious stone can act as a crystallization medium for a universal doorway to all coding of light, colour, and sound.
Physical crystals can act as a lattice connecting to the highest levels of etheric crystals. The grid can assist in constant contact with new levels of etheric crystal development. These etheric crystals can control our evolution's speed or magnitude (regulate it), and they can administer and exercise our sovereign authority and connection to our planetary lattice (Grid).Pure Quartz can carry an abundance of information through its transparency.
The vast openness can process and assimilate the full spectrum within the Earth's white light (that we can often see as a rainbow) and its capacity to communicate with higher universal vibrations. It can also be said that all other crystals with colour rays on Earth can have a more specific purpose of transparency. Light can be primarily white, and when this white light passes through a medium such as a prism within Quartz, it can reflect the colours and tones of our rainbow Chakras. While placing a crystal on the body, holding, or gazing into a crystal (some may call this gazing skrying), it can have the potential to be used as a key to open many doorways throughout our journey. These doorways can lead to healing.
Crystals can draw light, colour, and tones into the body, resulting in an influx of light frequencies. The crystals can help individuals who may not be able to govern his or her impulses with information, thus transforming them or us into living their soul's purpose.
Etheric crystals are located around sacred earth nodes called vortices. The most accessible region can be Arizona, but there are many others worldwide, such as Peru, Greece, Egypt, Yucatan and Romania, to name a few. These vortex nodes can have a crucial role in working in conjunction with the Earth's Aura and energy grid. These grids can act on a pyramidal relay system where light programs or light Beings can interact with our planet and with us.
The material representation, or manifestation, of this program could be natural crystals located on our earth plane. These light programs, or codes, can be infused within these stones and, when used with the highest integrity (always for the upliftment or sovereignty for humanity as a whole), can shift our physical energies and the planet's into a higher evolution by connecting the rainbow bridge of physical crystals to the etheric crystal.
Laura and I would take a trip back up to visit Dante in the hills. I would share as much information as I could with him in the short time we were there. He was amazed. Dante then asked for a healing treatment with the oils and wanted to see what I have learned. We went into a particular room where he laid on a table.
All the nearby village kids heard what was happening; they were excited to see the elder taking time for treatment himself. They gathered around the windows and watched the show. I began to apply the oils on his feet, precisely the spine location (in reflexology). I would place crystals on his body and use the oil to dip the tips of the quartz. I would then apply the quartz to specific pressure points very lightly (minimal contact) on his body. I would also light the wood and smudge around his body, inhale small amounts in my lungs and exhale the smoke back out across this crown.
The kids were memorized; it was quite the experience to see ancient healing techniques reviving on the sacred land. One hour would pass as the sun was going to set. We sat and had tea, and he shared his experience of the treatment with Laura and me. These oils and the region had a very profound experience for me, and I wanted to export some large bottles back to a friend of mine in Canada and some crystals.
We shipped the oils and wood to Toronto, and the items were showcased at the store alternative thinking. Laura and I would be the first to introduce the plant's spirit alongside the location of alternative thinking and another friend that was spreading the medicine through trade shows and workshops. I took no financial compensation for this. It was about the medication, and I wanted to keep it grounded but welcomed everyone else to the cash flow that would come into Canada.

We would say goodbye to Dante; he asked where we were going we told him Vilcabamba. He was very concerned and told me the village here has lots of food, fish and fruits and should stay here where no one goes hungry. I did not understand the depths of what he was communicating with me until we arrived at our destination. On the way down from the hill,
Laura would end up tripping and falling on her back, specifically her Coccyx. She was in great pain, and we had to start some treatments to loosen her back up. She was very excited to move on to the next adventure and did not want this fall to get in the way.

Vilcabamba is known as the Valley of Longevity. It's an Andean village in southern Ecuador. The valley has inspired travellers for decades to experience the richness of youth it provides. Over time, it would become one of the hottest destinations for various healers, soul-searchers, Yogis, and superfood cultivators (The Spanish Goa).
The town promises productive soils, long life and everything from affordable living, agriculture, shamanism and hallucinogens. Laura and I were not aware of its dangers and dark past of murders, robberies, kidnappings and rape. Upon arrival, we even found out that Some scientists researched the people living in the valley and found that the legend of long life and rejuvenation was just a myth for unstable tourism. There was no documentation of a single person over 100 who lived in the Valley of Longevity.
The average age of life was 87 years old.
We checked into the hotel Izhcayluma with a perfect view of the Cerro Mandango Mountain that sits 6,000ft above Vilcabamba. The mountain is known as the sleeping god in the shape of an Inca face. We heard stories of the great Inca kings from all over South America that would travel to this valley for a retreat. The local people speak of a legend in 1534 after the conquistadors killed the Inca king Atahualpa of Peru; His troops that survived in battle hid all of the king's gold in a Huaca (cave) on Mandingo's side.
We would venture out into town and visit the local sites; everything seemed okay. Laura kept talking about the mountain and would start to express her need to climb it. We spoke to some domestic/foreign tourists who hung out at a popular juice bar in the village's centre. Many people expressed that the mountain was closed and not a safe walk because the trail was unstable. Other days we hung out at the hotel we were staying at, with all the tourists excited to see the sites.
We exchanged information on the hot spots in Ecuador and its neighbouring border Peru. Laura and I were starting to plan on where we would travel to next. We spoke with the hotel owners, and they shared similar information as in the village. People do hike up to the mountain, some robberies have happened over the years, and the terrain can be steep, but people still climb it. Days would come and go; Laura would stare at the mountain from our terrace while she laid in her hammock.
I began to get a little nervous only because I have been in so many difficult situations over the years and did not want another. I started to have nightmares. Something was off, and every time I looked into it, I could not break through that veil.
One morning I awoke and met a man at the hotel planning to visit a shaman with a group of people. The Shaman is a woman who served the San Pedro cactus in the region for many years. I thought to myself that I must go. Maybe this plant has wisdom and information that I would need to settle the nervous energy that was building inside me. I have drunk the cactus well over 40 times already and am very experienced with the medicine.
I asked Laura if it was okay to join the group. She did not want to join and told me to go on my own; she would stay at the hotel and enjoy the amenities. I left during the full moon; it was a small group of 10 people we met together, and the sha-woman with her helpers would educate us about the spirit and what it could offer in the form of healing. She performed her ceremony and served us the medicine. It was intense, and the group was up all night vomiting and sick with various emotional releases. I had many visions of my time in Peru. I was releasing all the trauma I experienced from my time during the construction. Hundreds of people from around the world venture to drink medicine. While I was there, I helped many people through deep trips.

I received no information from the plant about the walk me and Laura would take. I only cried during certain times when the medicine peaked. At times I wept on how grateful I was to have such a great woman in my life. I was so happy I did not go to Peru to put my life in danger and choose to stay in Canada with her. Little did I know I would have to return the favour. The next morning I would arrive back at the hotel a mess and full of mud from rolling around the ground all night. She laughed sweetly, gave me some fresh fruit, and I went back to bed for the day to rest.
The next day we would awake to climb the mountain. I was still a little woozy from the ceremony two nights ago, and I did not want to go, but she was ready and excited. We began our journey with coffee and fresh breakfast and let the staff know we were beginning our walk-up. I was agitated, and she was joyful. I was in a rush to get to the top, and she was slowing me down by hugs and kisses and holding hands, stopping from time to time to enjoy the scenery. We stopped at one spot, and she put her hand on my heart and touched my cheek butterflies and hummingbirds were flying about.
She asked me to breathe and enjoy this moment with her. Again I was still agitated and said I don't have time for this; you wanted to climb this mountain, so let's climb it. As I write this now, I feel the wave of grief pass through me as I wish I could have just been there in that moment with her like she asked. We started the climb up a steep trail; there was a broken sign that said go back. The trail had fallen apart, and it would be difficult to get across. I asked her, are you sure you want to keep going. She said yes, so we ventured on a narrow path close to the far dropdown.
I stopped and asked her again, are you sure I will make a turnaround and go back with you. Again she said she needs to walk this; it's a vision quest for her.
We kept pushing on, and to be honest, I was tired even though I was in good shape. We were almost at the top, and I asked one more time, please let's go back; at this point, my body was trembling with fear and anger. We arrive at the top. She stops and looks at me and says that I will fight them if there are three guys up here to rob us. Now I was pissed because why would she mention 3 men. Now to share a little about Laura, she is very gifted with visions and had a strong intuition. At this point, I knew she was holding out on me on something, or maybe I was getting paranoid. But low and behold.

Three armed men were wearing masks arriving at the top just as we were looking at the view. There was a monument of the cross situated at the peak. I was so pissed and knew this was not going to go well I ran towards them to fight the men, one man hit me across the chest with his machete, and the other man pressed the point of his blade into my chest. I said fuck it, I am going to fight; there are only 3 of them. I have some boxing and taekwondo training, so it should not be a problem. I even showed Laura some martial arts back home in Canada, just in case.
She yells and runs towards me and tells me to stop; please don't. As soon as I saw the gun coming out of the third guy's pocket, I submitted. They walked us over to the front of the hill. They only spoke Spanish, so Laura and I had to translate together to formulate what was going on. He took the camera and told me to take pictures; for 10 minutes, I just took pictures of the scenery; every time I would turn around, he would punch me in the back of the head. They were very intoxicated; when I was done with the camera, he would take it. Now I knew what was going to happen; they were going to kill me, and then Laura, it was no robbery. It would be death and rape. The one-man put a gun to the back of my head. I saw a tattoo of a yin and yang symbol on his arm. Laura started to cry, and she was told to keep looking straight; she asked me,
Stephen is that a gun to your head? I told her it was not. She was very close to the edge, and I said to her would you like me to push you over? You will be safe. I can move fast and push you. If not, they will rape and possibly kill you. She said no. at that moment, I looked over and saw his eyes. They were black and filled with fear, and behind that fear, I witnessed some dull light burning in his eyes. They had a drink with Agua de Florida; it's a Shamanic Cleansing Spirit Water, I knew from the smell as I have used it several times before. They began to drink it and spit the alcohol back on our bodies.
They dumped out Laura's bag and began to laugh because she had a bible with her from a religion named Jehovah's Witnesses, a woman gave it to her as a gift. Before we left, we agreed not to bring any money just in case, but at this moment, that conversation we had, did not make any sense until the hotel keys fell out of my pocket. The game-changer as he pulled the trigger back and the gun and demanded me to get money from the hotel.
Laura was doing her best to translate during these conversation's it seemed she knew more Spanish than me. We were under the assumption they were asking for three thousand dollars. I asked them to send Laura down to the hotel. They said no, and no police or she dies. The man took my shoes and gave me his. His were way too small, so I had to run down in bare feet. The men said 2 hours. Off I went with Laura waving from the top, saying she will be okay. I told her to jump as I ran down, and I would do my best to find her and mend her. She just waved with a big smile. I ran as fast as I could with his shoes in hand. I would put them on when my feet hurt, but they made the pain worse because they did not even come close to fitting.

I thought to myself, no way I was going to make this trip in two hours. I threw his shoes away, and I did not want to walk in them anymore. I started to process all the healing sessions I did back home in Toronto with Woman. For over a year, the woman from abused shelters would come to me for treatments and share their suffering stories. One of the physiatric wards back home also sent me a woman with severe trauma when they checked out from the ward. It was intense the stories I heard and what they experienced all day, five days a week. I was booked solid for months in advance.
Most of the concerns these women had were with their husbands or boyfriends. It seemed the sex life diminished, and the men had a horrible time because this happened to their woman, and there was nothing they could do. The men would also come to me to seek counsel as their wives or girlfriends would ask them to visit me. Some of these men opened up with shame and embarrassment because they felt violated and felt that they could not be in a relationship with them. These men would feel ashamed for even thinking or feeling such a thing, and they would spiral downwards inside, keeping it hidden. Most of the men stayed in the relationships because of social or cultural pressure.
The spark was not there anymore. The men did open up with me, and their partners would achieve success and enjoy functional lives again; the success rate was about 50 percent.
I began to think the same thing as some of these men I counselled could I ever have sex with her again or love her the same way if they rape her. I began to run faster. I stopped to throw up; I was moving so fast my feet were bloody, and one of my toes were broken, but I just pushed through, making it down below. I yelled for help; someone put me in their truck and took me up to the hotel. I told the owners I need 3 thousand dollars Laura had is taken hostage. The hotel owners said this would not be a good idea, and they will call the police.
I said no because if the police come, they will kill her. I told the owner to get the money I would pay him back. All of a sudden, a woman came in front of me and told me to change it. I said, excuse me; she said, you are compelling, change my reality and save Laura. At that moment, I remembered how to do this.
I calmed down and took a deep breath putting Laura, and the attacker's in my mind. I told her I love her very much and will call the police and will place my spirit up there with her. I explained that these men would hear the police sirens and see what is happening below, and you must get away and jump. I thanked the woman shifted the reality I was stuck in, and got a ride down with the police.

When we got to the bottom, I felt sick with the connection I created with Laura; my face started to hurt as I saw her being punched in my mind's eye. I began to have all kinds of visions and pain in my body. I yelled to the police they are beating her; we need to move quickly. Then all of a sudden, everything went quiet, no sound, just a weak pulse. I knew she jumped. We found her on the path below, battered and broken. I called every spirit guide I could and went right to work, placing my hands on her stomach and head; she asked me who I was, I told her it's me, Stephen, please rest and don't die on me, I will be by your side. I heard someone's phone ringing, and a police offer handed me the phone and said it's the president.
This man on the phone said he is sorry; I said I am angry you and this country are about to be in big trouble; he told me to say calm. I said peace is not an option at this time, and he should be worried. I am not sure if it was the actual president or not, and I did not care. Obviously, he assumed I was in shock, but I was very serious as I shifted into total darkness and knew I would unleash something unsettling at one point.

The police were great; they would carry her down to safety and take her to a local hospital, and then we were transferred to Quito. It was a horrible ambulance ride. She was screaming in pain the whole time, Laura asked me to hold her hips in place because they were moving, and it hurt. We arrived at the hospital. It was a filthy mess of staff; she would scream all night and said it felt like her hips were broken. No one could do anything but give her medication. I slept on the floor in the filth with my bloody feet. The anger started to grow in me. Laura awoke in the morning, asking the nurses to clean my feet. I told her not to worry.
The pain in her body would not go away, and all I could do is pray for help to get us out of the hospital. A group of men walked in. One man ( Juan) spoke English. He had security with him and said he is getting us out of here. The hospital held us for ransom; the warden did not want us to leave; he tried to keep us here even though the president ordered our removal. Eventually, we were moved to a private hospital where Laura received proper care. They scanned her body and found she had fractures in her neck and a broken pelvis. The doctors drilled steel into her hips, and the pain stopped because the bones were put back into space.

Laura's parents flew in to help now and showed up at the hospital; they were very present for their daughter's healing. I told Laura it was time to sit upon a toilet they provided for her; it was essential to keep her body regulated with healthy bowel and urine movements. Lying in bed would slow down the recovery.
Most rehab goes wrong when people can move around but don't. She said she did not want to and wanted to speak about our relationship. I was upset and explained rehabilitation first, then me/us. I told her that I would leave for two days, and when I get back, I would expect her to be up on a toilet. It was challenging to push the woman I love so much, but I had to move the guilt aside to focus on Laura getting better. When I came back with her father, she was sitting up on the toilet doing bowel movements with a big smile on her face; now, she was ready to move into the luxury hotel they had reserved for her.
Juan that came to the first hospital to save us from taking us out to a private firm owned the local paper and a chain of English speaking schools named Canada English school he was Spanish and Canadian.
We were very fortunate that they came to help us and continued to do so the whole time we were in Ecuador. Now things would begin to get interesting. A police officer came to the hospital and informed us they caught one of the men, and I needed to identify him for the prosecutor. I spoke with Laura because this was going to be a big decision for both of us. I wanted to focus on her healing and not be tied up in courts or the rest of our trip in legal matters. We were told not to climb the mountain and advised on how was dangerous it was. There have been robberies and kidnappings for many people that climb the mountain, and we were warned. The security team, people from the local church and the police said he would be killed in jail to set an example for others, and the other two might have been already dead.
These situations affect the tourist economy, and in most cases, the attacks are to stop foreigners from entering the country and taking their lands. During my travels, I met with many of the local people. They spoke with me and complained that they could not cross property owned by American and Canadian investors to get to their own homes after purchase. Essentially they became homeless on their lands. Foreigners (North American) were also purchasing acreages of beach property and parcelling them off to other investors building small suburbia's. Again the local people would no longer have beach access. Even parts of the agriculture industry were the same foreign investors purchasing large size lots of farming and shipping the food out of the country, and the people were not involved. It was a mess. I asked Laura if it was okay to let him go; she agreed and said yes.

I told the police I did not want to press charges; they were agitated, telling me they will keep him detained and to think it over during the week. I waited and thought deeply. Laura's mom and dad were now there by her side, which gave me a little opportunity to leave the hotel. I was invited by the Minister of Tourism to share a seminar. All the representatives from each city across the country were there for a meeting already. I agreed, and with a security team, I was escorted to the headquarters.
Minister Freddy Ehlers was there to meet me. He was very excited for two reasons, to give his apologies, and he was also fond of esoteric information. He was involved with a close community that was also interested. Freddy walked me into the room where everyone was seated and told me they all speak English, so please say what was needed. I introduced myself and shared my thoughts on their tourism in the most compassionate way possible.

Over the years, I have learned that when you are speaking to political or influential people, you can never blame, just point out the solutions. I don't want to share what I said in the meeting, but I will tell you the closing line I left with the team. Your country calls itself Pachamama the world's centre (1978 UNESCO designated Quito as the world's first Cultural Heritage Site). Give the people access to their lands, stop letting foreigners buy your properties in mass quantity (put a cap on how much they can purchase and tax them more on resale), maintain your traditions; then, you will be the centre. Freddy escorted me out of the room. I told him nicely there is a specific date you will need to have these laws in place. He laughed and asked if I was a prophet. I responded by saying I am a realist.
After the meetings, I had several lunches and dinners with his people but did not want to speak about esoteric things I wanted to change. The next day the police showed up and waited for my decision. I told them the same we do not want to press charges. They asked me to drive out to the jail to think more. Laura was relaxing with much-needed family time, but she was still in much pain, and I had to be careful carrying her to the washroom and back to her bed through the day and night.
I had to be extra cautious with her baths; it was like I was carrying a porcelain doll into the tub. She was so fragile and would be in pain when I moved here. The rage and darkness were growing in me, especially when Laura was in pain; I thought of revenge and maybe sending this man to his death in jail.
I knew when Laura was feeling better, I would start the treatment, and she would be fine. We spoke about the ride out to the prison to meet the assaulter; she told me, whatever happens, she would support me, and if I wanted to let him go, she would understand. Juan accompanied me, and he asked what I was going to do. I explained I was going to let him go. Juan said to me that some TV stations wanted to interview me. Everybody was calling him. I guess I was the story, and Juan was the man in charge of it. I liked him, and Juan did a lot for me; I said yes but only translated ad Live TV. Juan said he would arrange it, and I would just have to show up. I asked him to tell nobody. We arrived at the jail, a vast open space with many inmates screaming and yelling.
I was escorted into the middle of the room and sat in a chair.
The man (assaulter) walked out and sat in another chair right in front of me; his eyes were very familiar, and I remembered the eyes and voice. I made sure to scan each of the three attackers when they came to assault us. The rage went through me; I wanted to take the police officer's gun that was standing next to me and shoot him. The man showed me his arms, and they were full of tattoos. I was not sure because I did not see the yin and yang tattoo but saw the tattoos Laura described. His life was in my hands, and I remember on the hill that dim light I saw in the eyes I remembered walking and running in his shoes and all the people in Ecuador affected by my country purchasing their lands. I said it is not him; you have the wrong guy.
The prosecutor was angry, and the police officer also needed to jail someone to calm the political situation. The assault happened on international woman's day, and Canada had a huge contract building their airports; for sure, they wanted to showcase a safe message to keep in good relations. I would leave and go back to the hotel, and Juan set up the live TV interview. When I returned, I let Laura know I let the assaulter go. I think at first she was upset because her healing back-peddled a little, and morale sank. I explained to her I was going on live TV and will drop a big message that will shake things up.
This time she was more concerned about my safety, but yet again, she agreed, and the next day, I went back out to do the show. I was so ready to speak about the message I was very calm and relaxed nobody knew what they were getting into except me.
The show started, and the newspaper owner asked the questions. I answered them, waiting for the right opportunity to answer the right question. And it came he asked why I think we were assaulted and what was the reason for it. I answered. You see, the colour of my skin, this colour is coming into your country and purchasing all your land. The sweat was dripping from the brows when the interpreting started. Even the camera guy moved his head to look at me to make sure he heard correctly in shock. The host of the show went blank and said nothing. I continued to explain.
After North Americans purchase their lands, Ecuadorians can longer cross my property to access their homes or venture onto your beaches because I now own them. I explained there need to be laws passed that will not allow foreigners to buy as much as they want and then resell and parcel the property pieces to others. I also explained that if your political structure allows this, taxes and fees should go back to the people.
By this time, I believe the cameras were off because the show was quickly over. I was rushed out of the studio and back to the hotel. Security would show up and said I was not allowed to leave the hotel anymore. The next day we needed to be transferred. Everybody was looking for me TV stations, papers and even local freedom fighters for the country. The problem was escalating because, in Quito, an advocate for the Ecuador group began a protest and ready to hit the streets. They moved us to a safer location at a hotel up in the hills where I would start Laura's treatments and rehabilitation.
We had a great space, large windows, gardens and all the food we needed. I asked Laura's mother and father to return home. I explained to them I had it from here; Laura's mom was happy to do so, she told me that most men would take advantage of a family looking after their daughter, and the men would wander off. I explained to her that it was vital for Laura and me to reconnect with each other to spend time in privacy and start the healing process with her.
We would begin to flood Laura's body with large amounts of Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM). It's a sulphur-containing compound found in plants and humans. MSM relieves joint pain, reduces inflammation and helps with the overall rehabilitation process.
We also used Spirulina powder mainly for the copper properties; plant-based sources are the best. Copper helps maintain healthy bones, blood vessels, nerves and plays an active role in iron absorption. Spirulina provides Protein: 4 grams, Vitamin B1 (thiamine): 11% of the RDA, Vitamin B2 (riboflavin): 15% of the RDA Vitamin B3 (niacin): 4% of the RDA, Copper: 21% of the RDA, Iron: 11% of the RDA. I would add a woman's multivitamin into the concoction also. We would mix these drinks 3 to 4 times a day. We would also lay the crystals on her body with the Palo Santo oil. One day she screamed at me to take the quartz off her body because they were pulling too much out, and another day she said she was done with the drinks and wanted no more. Of course, she would continue to drink them; we had some good laughs through the process.
She was young, so her immune system was strong enough to handle the process and respond very well to everything. In no time, she was up in a wheelchair, and I would push her around the gardens to breathe the fresh air, admire the flowers and butterflies. A month into the treatments, along with the tranquil setting and all you can eat Buffett, she would be up to using a walker. We played games as she moved around and began to get parts of her mobility back. I would then start to go deeper with light tissue work applying the Palo Santo oils again to her body. She began to heal quickly, and the doctors would take the steel out of her body.

The government informed us that our time in Ecuador was at an end. Laura was well enough to fly home, and they could not pay for any more of our expenses. We were grateful for all the care and supported the country offered us and extremely thankful to the husband and wife team that owned the Canadian English school. His wife spent many hours with Laura, and we appreciated having a solid woman by her side to speak. Even the woman from the hotel in Puerto Lopez kept in contact the whole time through Laura’s recovery. We would say goodbye and fly back home to Canada.
The first thing when we arrived was to take a visit to the hospital for scans. We came to her doctors to get the results, and he was mystified. His exact words were, I am mystified, I would never believe Laura fell 30 stories and fractured her neck and broke her pelvis. There are no signs of any damage at all, and it’s almost like it never happened. He wanted to send her to a special x-ray where they would inject a die into her to double-check. He said this ink would light up any tears in the bones. Laura declined, and we went on our way. We both went back to alternative thinking it was our 2nd home in Toronto. We shared many workshops and events, and Laura was a trooper through the whole process; everybody welcomed her back and was so happy to see her moving around. At one point, she had enough of everything and wanted to slow down.
Her mother tried to get us a home in Toronto. The problem is I wanted to stay and build alternative thinking, and I wanted to remain celibate and take a break from the whole sexual lifestyle for a while. I needed to put at least two years into this work. Deep down inside, I knew she would need to go the rest of the way and her own with family and maybe we could remain friends one day. She left, and I stayed on the floor and would sleep at Alternative thinking.
Global TV did do a documentary on the subject. It was full of dramas, and a lot of the show was misleading.
Of course, mainstream media wanted to portray their version and cut at least 60 percent of the story. The Husband (Juan) and wife team from Ecuador that came to rescue us in the hospital flew to Toronto for the interview. 16x9 did not show enough respect to share their side of the story. I told the producers we were not on a honeymoon and were not celebrating a marriage; it was the beginning of our travels to different parts of the world. They talked us into it, saying it would add drama and catch the public. I felt uncomfortable with the high drama scene, and inside I was still not at 100 percent and was rushed to do it.
Below is the documentary.
